Architecture is about design at many levels. One of the most important and appealing levels is how to design for Light and Space.
The art work of 70 yr old American artist James Turrell, which I have seen in Naoshima (Japan) and Canberra, is architecture purely for the investigation of light and space.
It inspires me to distill something of that in designs for my clients.
